So I just ripped a hole in the last pair of good pair of jeans I own. It is an epic rip at that. This brings me to what all I need to blog this week. I recently took my measurements and was shocked at how bad things have gotten. It truly motivated me to do something. This week I have been on top of my diet and working out daily. I may not be able to work out a lot but I have made an effort to do at least 15 minutes of cardio every day. Today we went to the casino with my parents and we ate at the buffet. Lucky for me there was just a few choices and I skipped on the dessert. However, I’m not exactly thrilled about it because I can’t validate how many calories I consumed. So, I’m going to hit the elliptical extra hard today.
I wanted to list my measurements so that I can show my progress. My goal is to break 170lbs by April. I hope to be in the 160s by June. Truly, I need to be in the 150s to have a health BMI. Here are my numbers as of last Sunday:

I am going to be keeping track of my measurements so that I can track my progress. I have started my yoga classes back up twice a week and there is a cycling class that is right yoga that I plan on attending to help me burn more calories and build some stamina. I am going to start lifting some light weights on Mondays and Wednesdays. Even if I don’t hit the gym, I am making a commitment to myself to use the elliptical in our bedroom.
Also, I am going to start a book today. I must read. That was on my to do list a couple of posts ago but I never got to it. So, new goal, I will have read a book by February 15th. I hope all of you had a great weekend. I’m feeling truly blessed and can’t wait to see what work holds for me this week.
