I know I haven’t been posting consistently. However, the good news is that the internet should be up and running soon at my house. I have been using an air card and that is an on again off again type of relationship.
Wednesday I did very good with my calories. My allergies are kicking my but and I haven’t been feeling well but still have made sure that I have gotten my 40 minutes of exercise. Yesterday was a different story. We had a safety meeting out at Fish Heads, a restaurant out by the dam. It was really good. I ordered an open face green chile cheese burger thinking that it would be less bread and no cheese. Boy was I wrong. It was two patties smothered in green chile and cheese. Oh, and it also came with the best tasting seasoned fries. I haven’t had fries in months. Needless to say I binged and ate 98% of what was on my plate. It totally sucked. I don’t think I took a breath while I ate. Since I didn’t eat breakfast I kept tricking myself and saying it was alright because I hadn’t consumed anything. What did I learn from this experience?
- Eat breakfast so you won’t be STARVING
- Stay away from the chips! They will hurt you
- When someone tells you the green chile is good, it probably is but that doesn’t mean you have to order it
- Avoid Cheese and French fries in large amounts
The only plus to yesterday was I drank a ton of water and didn’t lay down when I got home. Instead I worked on trying to hook up the modem, vacuumed all of downstairs, folded some laundry, and hit the elliptical for 40 minutes.
Calories in=Calories that need to go out.
Good goals keep on going you can do it!
